HONGKONG TRIP

It was my second Hongkong Trip and this time it was with my son. We got our ticket for only 2100 per pax. Thanks to Cebupacific. =) After asking so many questions to a lot of people about what to bring and where to go since my first trip to Hongkong was way back 2004. Finally, our trip went out smoothly.

We left the Philippines at 5:40pm and arrived at 7:40pm in hongkong. The weather was at 20deg C when the plane landed. There were lots of people in the airport and the whites were very irritated with Indians since they keep on leaving their thing unattended. =)

We took airbus 21 to our hostel which is HK Taisan. It took us almost 2hours to reach Nathan Rd TST. By the way, the fare of Airbus21 is 33HKD. When we reach the hostel we just left our things and went out to get some food for dinner.

***Always bring your passport with because once the building is closed, the guards will asked you to fill out a paper that will require your passport number.

Our first night with HK Taisan Burlington Branch was horrible! I booked for a room with private CR, and I was asked to pay for a reservation of 520HKD, and I was given a room in Penthouse with no private CR. It was raining that night, so going out just to take a pee is really making mad. My son fell on the stairs since the steps are so short. Grabe talaga!!!! Several people complained that night and the next day about their accomodation about HK Taisan Burlington Branch. The Filipino caretaker Ate Yolly, promised that she will transfer us to another room the next day. So, I packed my things and asked them to transfer me to a comfortable room because that is what I paid for. The fellow filipina kept on saying the room without a private CR is way cheaper, I answered her I'm not asking for a cheaper room. So, that was our first night with HK Taisan.

Day 2

DISNEYLAND

We went to Disneyland on our second day, just like how I promised my son. We woke up at 8am, took our breakfast and bought a ticket to Disneyland. The filipina who sat beside me in the plane told me that I should go to World Wide House to get our ticket because it is 50HKD cheaper. So we hurriedly went to WWH to get our ticket and unfortunately they were still close the filipina girl told me that they will be open by 10am. So we went back to the hostel and purchased our ticket it was 18hkd cheaper.

We arrived at Disneyland by 10am. It was really cold that day 15deg if I remembered it correctly. People are coming everywhere but most of them are locals.

The rides in Disneyland are really for kids so my son was so excited. But due to the advice of my friends to watch the shows. I planned our Disneyland trip for us not to miss any of the shows. There are actually four (4) shows.

1. Lion King - for me this is the best show.
